Wired sensors

In some situations, wireless sensors may not be the best option — for example, in locations with unstable radio communication or where continuous power is required. In these cases, wired alarm loops provide a reliable solution.
This section explains how to connect wired sensors to the hub inputs, configure them in the app, and verify that they are operating correctly.
 
Inputs are dedicated terminals on the hub or control panel that allow you to connect wired sensors and alarm loops.
Each input can support up to 10 wired sensors that operate using a dry contact connection:
  • NC (Normally Closed) — the circuit is closed under normal conditions, and an alarm is triggered when the circuit is opened.
  • NO (Normally Open) — the circuit is open under normal conditions, and an alarm is triggered when the circuit is closed.
The inputs monitor the condition of the alarm loop and can detect:
  • Normal state
  • Alarm state
  • Open circuit
  • Short circuit
Depending on the system configuration, each input can be assigned a specific loop type, such as: security, fire, panic and other alarm types.

Input specifications

  • Supply voltage: 12 V
  • Signal type: Dry contact (no voltage applied by the sensor)
  • Recommended end-of-line resistor value: 4.7 kΩ
  • Current consumption depends on the type and number of sensors connected to the loop
