Zones

Zones are logical groups of devices that are combined for easier management, monitoring, and response to events. Instead of configuring each device separately, you control the entire zone as a single unit.

A zone can include sensors, outputs, actuators, and cameras. For example, you can create zones like “Home”, “Garage”, “Living Room”, or “Yard”. This makes it easier to monitor system status, arm or disarm security, control devices, and receive notifications for events within a specific zone.

All devices inside a zone work together. The system continuously monitors their status and reacts to events.

For example, if a sensor is triggered:

— the system identifies the event type

— sends a notification

— activates the siren

Zones allow you to:

— group devices by purpose or location

— flexibly configure system responses

— arm and disarm an entire zone with a single command

— control different parts of a site separately

For optimal performance, distribute devices by purpose and function:

• Zone 1 — door and window sensors (perimeter protection)

• Zone 2 — indoor motion sensors

• Zone 3 — fire detectors

This makes it easier to manage security and configure responses for real-life scenarios.
