How to connect the hub

Each object operates through a hub — the central device that connects all components and manages the security system. After adding an object, connect the hub to it to start configuring the system.

To connect the hub, follow these steps:

1. On the home page, tap Add hub

2. Enter the serial number manually or scan the QR code (found on the device casing).

3. Choose how the hub will connect to the Internet:

• Via Wi-Fi

If you have a regular Wi-Fi router at home, this is the simplest option.

1) Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list

2) Enter your Wi-Fi password

3) Confirm the connection — the hub will connect to the Internet through your router

• Via GPRS (if a SIM card with Internet access is installed)

1) Make sure the SIM card is inserted into the hub

2) Enter the information required for connection:

– APN (access point name) — you can get it from your mobile provider

– GPRS username and password

3) Tap Save and connect

For full remote access, the hub must be connected to the Internet.

4. Next, connect to the hub’s access point — it will appear as GarmLink_xxxxxxxxxxxx

5. Enter the connection password. The password is the same as the last characters in the network name (xxxxxxxxxxxx)

6. After adding the hub, reconnect to your regular Wi-Fi network if you want the hub to use it for Internet access This step ensures the hub isn't left connected only to its temporary network.
